The 8th annual Elk Valley had some last minute changes
with the ample parking we USED to have..Neighbors
who used to allow parking decided to wait until 2 days
before the ride to say NO...I almost had a heart attack with
the largest turnout ever. Even with entry limited to 135
there was a waiting list of 40 some. I was concerned about
parking WITH the extra room...
Hey, endurance riders are all about handling adversity,
right? Wonderful people from FL who camped since Monday
knew the delemma and Joby Delano, Annette Fantasia, 
and Ed Oathout, said: "Piece of cake"..hee hee Thanks
guys...We appointed Ed (who EARNED a free entry) as parking
master nad indeed he was a master!!! You should have stayed
in PA. Ed, we miss you, and your are not GRUMPY!!
THANK YOU ALL!!! Wonderful people are endurance riders!!
Maggy Price brought 2 young men from Turkmenistan to
do their first ride at Elk Valley..WHAT AN HONOR!!!
I'll send Maggy the Newspaper article (badly written but
nice photo of Guanch and Dovelet with the horses)
Our Teddy@ runningbear.com sure captured the essence of
Elk Valley in photo's ...they brought tears to my eyes..
tears of joy...and pride for the sport we all love.
What a wonderful weekend!! Thank you everyone..now
