   Years ago I knew of a Belgian/Arab cross named Arabel who was a 
consistently strong finisher, with the appropriate over-heating management.  
Arabel and her owner (Web Coleman?) competed in Northeast CTR's (ECTRA 
sanctioned).
   And isn't Lee Alexander's mare part Belgian?  That's probably the one you 
remember at the Biltmore, Angie.  I believe both the above horses were/are 
from Vermont.
   Sue Greenall, I'll bet you can fill in more of the details on these 
horses, they're in your neck of the woods.
