Re: Biotin????



Whichever one gives you the most biotin for the price.  There's lots of
debate about whether the other "stuff" like zinc, methionine, etc is
necessary, but the original research done at the Spanish Riding School of
Vienna *only* provided biotin.  So I regard anything else in there as
marketing fluff, not a required or even beneficial nutrient.

The most concentrated/cost effective brand I've found is Paragon Biotin
Plus---theirs is 50 mg of biotin per ounce, you can cut that in half and
double how long the bucket will last.  The body doesn't store biotin, only
utilize 15-20 mg per day, so any excess fed just ends up in the pee puddle.
Biotin Plus does also contain yucca in very low doses, so just stop feeding
it a week before a ride.
