Intro to distance riding

Quite a few of our rides in the NW  offer a short "pleasure ride"  or "fun
ride" in conjunction with LD  and Endurance rides.   We use a nice part of
the regular trail,  entries must pass the same pre-ride and post-ride vet
checks,  the "pulse down" at the end.   There is NO TIME FACTOR,  every
rider gets a completion award.   The distance is usually around 10-12 miles.

This is a non-threatening way to see what happens at a ride,  meet other
riders, etc.

It is also a great help in bringing in a little more cash to help ride
management break even.
