I have found that horses do best in stock trailers.  You might try
taking the divider out and letting him ride loose.  Put some kind of
kick boards around the lower inside of the trailer.  What is the
suspension on this trailer -some are better than others.  And watch your
driving.  Slow and smooth are the key words.                   There was
a long discussion on trailers awhile back on Ridecamp.  You can probably
find it in the achives.
