Yep, buckskin/palomino have always been "legal" Morgan colors... if non-PC
in some circles.  The double dilutions (cremello/perlino etc.) are also
registerable now... they even rescinded the high-white rule in 1996 allowing
sabinos. The sire of my two Morgans is buckskin.  My own stallion is bay
with lots of chrome, possibly a minimally marked sabino (only some foals on
the ground will confirm it).  My filly is a nice clear, dark-gold palomino.

I personally like color diversity in breeds, but historically... that has
been frowned upon in many Morgan circles.  I hope the vast majority of
Morgan people have come around to the idea that a good horse comes in any
color.

P.S.  That wouldn't be LJ Morning Reveille standing in your area would it?
If not, who is it? In any case, dun Morgans are pretty rare... but there are
quite a few nice buckskins and palominos standing at stud.
