Crazy Icon's??

Hi all: I came across a "Fix" for last weeks Computer Problem with the Icons
on the desk top.

The "FIX" is below:

Windows 98
Are your Control Panel or desktop icons acting funny - displayed incorrectly
or just plain black? Don't panic. lt just means your SheIIIconCache file is
damaged (not as bad as it sounds).
The quickest solution? Delete this file.
First, start Windows in Safe mode: Turn on your computer, hold down the Ctrl
key until the Start-up menu appears, select Safe Mode, and press Enter.
Next, make sure that you can see hidden files. Open any Explorer window,
select View, Folder Options, click the View tab, and under Advanced
Settings, select Show All Files.
Now open the Windows folder and locate the ShelllconCache file. Right-click
this file, select Delete, and if necessary, click Yes to confirm.
Restart Windows 98 (SheIIIconCache will be re-created automatically), and
your icons should be back to their old selves.
