Re: loose salt (was: No Sweat)



Just table salt is fine, as the majority of what you've lost in sweat is
just sodium and chloride.  You also lose potassium and calcium in sweat, but
in at-home situations, those are being replaced by hay.  At endurance rides,
you need to replace those electrolytes as well as just sodium chloride.  I
just put the salt into a small bucket and hang it off the fence.
