I am sure you will get lots of responses.
Some that come to my mind
Give trail when asked for it.
Ask for trail and state which side you wish to pass.
Keep a safe distance behind the horse in front of you.( if you tailgate
you will get kicked, if the horse doesn't do it the rider might)
Be quiet in the pulse area
Wait for the person who opens the gate for you to mount before leaving
