RC: Looking for overnight site

Hi RideCampers,
A friend and I will be traveling with our horses to the Fire Mtn Ride at 
Ridgecrest, CA.  We plan to break the trip by stopping near Bakersfield (or 
between Bakersfield and Ridgecrest) on the night of Thursday, January 20.  
Any ideas about where we could camp with the horses for the night would be
