Hi Maggie.
I don't know if I'm the only "lucky" one out there, but my body has somewhat
of a consciousness. I went to a number of rides while on my period and the
worst day should have been Saturday. I mean you kinda know yourself, right?
The first time this happened I was a little worried, mostly abut the crampy
part. But I kinda forgot about it on race day morning (to busy and excited, I
guess) and - suprise, suprise, things came to an almost complete stop! This
has happened now at least 4 or 5 times since (including last weekend at
Warner Springs) and I don't worry about it anymore. I acually talked to my
gynacologist about this and she wasn't suprised but said that our cycles are
very susceptive to situations like this. Only backdraw: things usually come
back on Monday - with a vengeance!!! I went home sick this time after half a
day at work. But hey, so what! I did pretty well at the ride!!!
