 I certainly agree with this.  I've had at least 4 horses damage suspensories 
 and I finally found the common denominator in all these injuries .... a very 
 fast, extended trot.  And I was encouraging this trot because I loved it so, 
 and because I thought this is the gait for more speed with less stress.  
 That's the way we were taught back in the 70s.  We all know better now.
