Maggie, some of us are waiting impatiently for Joan's solution (age!!) and 
fervently wishing the insurance company would spring for Victoria's solution 
(hysterectomy!), while doing our utmost to avoid Claudia's debatable solution 
(pregnancy!).  Meanwhile, the changes of middle age have made "delicato's" 
solution obsolete in my case (I had the best luck with OB brand, too, in 
spite of them being a pain in the whatever to apply) as NOTHING made will 
suffice for me for more than an hour or so anymore.  (Will refrain from 
further graphics.)  For those of you who middle age has also dealt a raw (pun 
intended) deal in this regard, try those industrial-strength overnight pads 
backed by Depends, and apply Desitin to any body parts that are subsequently 
rubbed to the point of rawness.  It is NOT pleasant, but may get you to the 
next vet check.
