I have no idea!  I've just ordered my first pair of the new plastic easy ride stirrups so
I guess I'll find out if I'm having the same problem.  I first got Teddy's Trail
Tech/easy ride adaptation and couldn't adjust to all the flex so I sent them back in
trade for the non flex stirrups.
