Actually, Tom, I much prefer to beat folks who are skilled and trying just as 
hard to beat me.  But then I haven't run into too many morons in this 
sport--most of the competitors that manage to stay around for very long are 
pretty sharp cookies.  I HAVE run into a few folks who fit the "armchair 
quarterback" model--and often they are lacking in the wisdom gained in the 
field.
