The Great "Synthetic" Saddle Hunt - Progress "and" Question Please?

Dear Ridecampers,

FYI, I haven't forgotton all those wonderful people who responded to my request
for comments or opinions on the use of synthetic sadles in endurance riding. I
thought I "would" take the time to respond - in general - by sharing with you
what I know - what I have encountered - thus far, "and" ask for additional
help. Now, keep in mind I have a rotund/wide backed Arabian that outgrew his
32cm "wide" treed saddles. The closest we came to getting a good fit was with
the new Wintec "2000" Series. They feature the interchangeable gullets and
large, weight bearing panels. However; due to the "channel" being too narrow;
the saddles still roll. The channel was/is the "only" difference between the
County WB Dressage saddle we are currently using - which has a #4 tree and
wide, weight bearing panels - and the Wintecs. "So" that being said; does
anyone know how I can get in touch with a dealer that sells the Thorowgood
"Maxum" synthetic saddle? They boast of an "extra-wide" AP model.

Thanks again,

Ruth Abair in Texas
