Jim Oury is back in the saddle

I thought everyone might be pleased to know that in spite of multiple broken
bones, scrapes, contusions, a collapsed lung, etc. etc. sustained in the
accident at Posse Ride in September (Pleeeeeaase don't revisit the Posse Ride
argument that went on earlier this month) Jim Oury completed 50 miles at the
Home on the Range ride in Othello, Washinton earlier this month. Jim
finished 9th on his 17 year old gelding, Stahrzeyn, with a ride time just shy
of six hours--by the way, three cheers for Sarah Metcalf and all the
volunteers who coped so beautifully with the enormous turnout--Thank you all
so much for your messages of support and concern. Hope to meet some of you
at Tevis! Again, thank you.
