Ah yes Barbara, but it is really only the unwashed 2% that cause us trouble.
Though the cost will ultimately be very high, for us in particular, we will
still fight for the rights of those Mt. Bikers and the hikers. We will be
fighting for more intensive and more frequent education. We are thinking
trail manners could be incorporated into school room PE education (Arlene is
an old PE teacher)

In our area, only the bikers are our alies; some of the hikers want trails
for their own special sanctuary where they can meditate away from the noise
of horses and bicycles.  And I worry about bikers frightening the horses,
but
I keep hoping they'll be careful.  Read the recent post from Bob Morris
about
Arlene's accident.  It's enough to cause concern.
