Re: RC: Racism?????

Loved it, Howard.
You know I actually hired an animal communicator to help with a horse in
training who had an attitude (yes, I was desperate!) Well anyway she was
really good-- totally accurate about my horses behavior (without me
telling her anything specific as I wanted to see if she was real). There
are lots of sidelines to this story (better told over a glass of wine
someday) but the part that relates to your post is this: she asked Mark
if there was anything he wanted to ask of another horse (Explodent, my
best friend whom I wrote a tribute to on this page
http://www.stormnet.com/~woa/explodent.htm Come see). Anywho, Mark, my
husband asked her to ask Expo how he felt about horses being subservient
to man, man being the superior being. Well she paused a moment, then
laughed and said "Expo says horses don't consider man to be their
superiors; horses were brought here to this planet to teach man love,
kindness and fairness.
Whether or not you believe in communicators (and believe me she made a
believer out of me that day) you have to agree with her. At least when a
horse has had enough, he'll cock his leg, lay back his ears, and give
you warning. I've worked with people who can smile at you and stab you
in the back at the same time. Not all people have the horse's sense of
fairness and loyalty either. I'm sure if he's listening now, Expo read
your post and is smiling.
Cheers!
Bette Lamore
